Right of Passage

Considering the fact that we live in Canada, it is only logical to assume that everyone knows how to skate. Our kids were given their very first chance to strap on the blades and do a few runs around the rink. Our ward had a Primary skate party on Saturday night so we all went to enjoy the ice, except me of course. My poor toe kept me from even trying to attempt to put the skates on. I think the pain would have been unbearable. Thankfully Pat took the reigns and gave the kids both a turn, and Grandma Reggie helped too. They had a blast and before I knew it the time was up. Hadley proceeded to inform me that she needed to have some skating lessons. Who knows maybe? Here are a couple of pictures from the day.

Hadley should become a Hockey player. that would be totally cool. and Rawley should be a figure skater. oh wait, I mean the other way around. keep it up, if they're gonna be canadians they need to really know how to skate. If they don't know how the Polar Bears will get them for sure!!
