The other day while I was straightening up the house I came across my 2 older kids sitting on our coffee table looking out our front window. I just happened to catch part of their conversation. Apparently our stranger FHE from a while ago stuck with Hadley and she was proceeding to give Rawley the rundown.
Hadley: So Rawley this is what we do when we see a stranger. We don't talk to them, we don't take candy from them, and we never ever ever go anywhere with them. You got that?
Rawley: Right!
I guess that I should be glad that she has that much figured out, and at least she is passing on the correct information to her younger brother!
Oh! and sorry about the lack of pictures. Our computer with all of them on it is out of commission until our basement is back in order. Only a couple more weeks! (Hopefully)

10 years ago: I was still a newlywed with no cares in the world. Working as a cashier at a drug store and had no worries.
5 Things on my list of things to do today: Laundry, vacuum, clean bathrooms, prepare lesson for tomorrow, and check in on my blogging friends. What can I say it is Saturday.
3 of my bad habits: Watching too much TV, eating out way too often, not spending as much quality time with each of my kids individually as I would like.

More House!
So I will post the changes we made slowly. Our living room is not used all that often so it tends to be the cleanest room. That means that it is the first of the main rooms I will show. It is the only room that is the same color from our starting choices.

Can it get any colder?
So I have been pretty much stuck in my house for the last couple of days because of the cold weather. We have been hit by a major cold spell. There has been a layer of ice on the inside of my windows close to an inch thick, and temperatures have been at the warmest around -28 degree Celsius, closer to -40 with the wind chill. Sorry for all of the Americans reading this I really don't know how to convert it to Fahrenheit. Let's just say it's cold. But who can complain I mean I do live in Canada right! I also means that the roads are now completely solid blocks of ice, but there is lots of snow for us to play in when it warms up again. (Hopefully tomorrow) Looks like the kids will finally get to build that snowman they have been waiting all winter to do.
